Key Highlights

• Focused preparation for the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) exam
• Comprehensive review of vascular ultrasound interpretation and vascular lab studies
• Covers arterial, venous, cerebrovascular, abdominal, dialysis access, and graft surveillance studies
• Includes practical case presentations to connect ultrasound findings with patient situations
• Useful for physicians, vascular specialists, radiologists, sonographers, and vascular lab teams
• Includes guidance on building and implementing a vascular laboratory program

Ultrasound Foundations Ultrasound physics, vascular imaging technology, machine settings, scanning principles, waveform interpretation, and diagnostic limitations.

Arterial & Cerebrovascular Studies Peripheral arterial upper and lower studies, carotid duplex, subclavian and vertebral ultrasound, and transcranial Doppler.

Venous & Abdominal Ultrasound Venous insufficiency, venous thrombosis, pelvic congestion syndrome, abdominal vascular ultrasound, renal duplex, and mesenteric duplex.

Surveillance & Lab Development Bypass graft surveillance, aortic stent graft surveillance, dialysis access, case presentations, RPVI high-yield pathology, and vascular lab program setup.

By Completing This Course, You Will Be Able To:

• Demonstrate clinical interpretation of arterial and venous vascular noninvasive studies
• Interpret peripheral, cerebrovascular, and abdominal vascular ultrasound studies
• Apply velocity criteria for grading stenosis in vascular studies
• Discuss vascular ultrasound criteria in dialysis grafts, bypass grafts, aortic interventions, and peripheral interventions
• Summarize basic ultrasound physics and ultrasound technology as applied to vascular diagnostics
• Review topics commonly found on the RPVI exam
• Develop and implement a vascular laboratory program at your institution
